The Prompt:
Get ready to join our thrilling art contest, "To Love 2L!" We can't wait for you dive into what it truly means to love Lemhi County, Idaho, and unleash your creativity through visual or literary art. Artists of all ages are invited to submit their amazing works that capture the vibrant spirit of our fantastic community. Exciting prizes await in each category, with winners announced after the show at the Salmon Public Library. We’re eager to see your incredible creative expressions!
Artists are limited to a single entry. The prompt for the contest is "To Love 2L"
The Rules
Who's Eligible
All Lemhi Valley residents divided by age groups: 6-12, 13-18 and 19+
What are the Prize Categories
Visual and Literary in each age group. Each age group in each category will have a prize from The Judges and a People’s Choice.
Art must be an original piece created between now and the submission date
Art must be either Visual (painting, drawing, fiber work, jewelry, lithograph, sculpture. Please no photography. Or Literary (story, poem, reflective essay, screen play, prose).
Prizes will be awarded for each category in each age group
The submission deadline will be around the end of March with a show to be displayed at the Salmon Public Library.
By entering the Contest, the Salmon Arts Council is granted the rights to utilize photos of the artwork for promotional purposes.

The talent and passion of the artists who entered this year's contest was truly amazing. We are proud to have received so many wonderful submissions from many talented artists, making the selection process very difficult. Congratulations to the winners, and to all who participated, we thank you for sharing your talent and vision with us. We are blown away with this years participation and enthusiasm.
