Why SAC Needs You!

SAC is administered by an Executive Director and a volunteer board of directors. Teams for operations and activities are led by board members and supported by volunteers. We receive a portion of our funding through grants from Idaho Commission on the Arts, Western States Arts Federation, National Endowment for the Arts, Idaho Humanities Council, Steele Reese Foundation, Robert Earll McConnell Foundation, and other public or private entities. Our community of FRIENDS AND BUSINESS SPONSORS include.local businesses, donations from individuals, and in-kind contributions which also provide key support for our programs. SAC memberships, however, are the heartbeat of our organization. It is through our membership base that we can continue to bring the finest quality experiences in the arts to our community.

Membership is open to all interested individuals, businesses, and organizations. We are open to any level of volunteer participation, from cleaning up after an event to full board membership. You can always help us plan and build for the future by joining the Programming Team, for example, without committing to full board participation or just share your ideas and suggestions. We’d love more feedback and community participation. All final business decisions will remain the board of directors responsibility.

Membership Benefits Include:

Discounted admission to selected events.
Eligibility for Season Ticket Packages.
SAC quarterly newsletter The Muse.
Advance notice of special events.
Tax deductions for contributions.
Participation in community-supported arts programs.

Membership Levels:

  • Underwriter: $2,000 minimum annually
  • Investor: $1,000 minimum annually
  • Steward: $500 minimum annually
  • Benefactor: $300 minimum annually
  • Founder: $200 minimum annually
  • Patron: $100 minimum annually
  • Contributor: $50 minimum annually
  • Friend: $25 minimum annually
  • Associate: Reciprocal or $ 25 annually payment in full. Membership is traded with any non-profit groups, organizations, corporations, clubs, associations or institutions engaged in the good of the community at large.
  • Honorary Life Member: On a two thirds (2/3) majority vote of the current Board of Directors, any person may be recognized in this category for sustained and/or exemplary service to the Salmon Arts Council or to the furtherance of its mission. Honorary Life Members

Season Ticket Package available exclusively to SAC members $100 each
